As part of plans to develop a partnership, the Indonesian delegation returned in October. The visit resulted in tangible business contacts and further insight into how an exchange between Swedish and Indonesian health care could look like.

Swecare and the Ministry received a health delegation of 25 people from Indonesia. The delegation, consisting of doctors, hospital managers, investors and policy makers, was here to discuss opportunities for collaboration in the field of geriatrics, elderly care and education of health professionals.

A Russian delegation with participants from Swecare partner RAMMS, russian hospital management and doctors visited Stockholm to discuss possible areas of cooperation. The delegation visited the member company Elekta.
Russian visit

Swecare collaborates with the Russian organization RAMMS. They visited Swecare in Stockholm on February 8-9, 2010. The visit resulted in a prolonged cooperation agreement which opens up for future possibilities for collaboration for the members of Swecare.

Delegation from Japan

Coincident with the construction of a modern hospital in Fukuchiyama City, a Japanese delegation, directed by Renaiss Hospitals Dr. Masato Fujiwara, came visiting Sweden, September 28-30. The aim of the visit was to gain knowledge and competence from Swedish healthcare, prior purchase of hospital equipment. The hospital shall be equipped with 200 hospital beds and has the character of a general hospital, including eye- and delivery clinics.
The Iraqi Ministry of Health

The members of Swecare were offered to meet with the Minister of Health of Iraq, H.E. Mr Salih Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, on April 24th 2009. The participating companies were given the opportunity to present themselves and discuss with the Iraqi delegation on the topic “Sustainable and Affordable Health Care”.
